2012 – A Day In The Life Of Perk

Day 35 – Friday, February 3

Ah, finally Friday.  The day consisted of nearly 100% Biz4Mobile client work, trying to get them ready to start selling next week.  I didn’t even get out for a walk today.

Tonight we went to an underground ping pong event put on by House of Pong.  A couple of times a year they throw these pop up pong events at random locations throughout San Francisco.  This particular location was unfortunately down in Fisherman’s Warf.  Nothing but tourists that don’t know any better that hang out down there.  But we drove down there, parked and just tried our best to avoid all the aggressive sales people trying to get you to go into their stores and restaurants.

It was pretty fun.  They had about 7 or 8 tables set up.  Some were for tournament play (only the serious players here) and the other were just basic challenger tables.  Win, and stay on the table.  Me, Dan, Michele and my friend Dave Albert all went.  Dave brought a new friend Katie.  And Michele’s resent ex was also there.  She seemed to be ok with it.  She’s moved on and made good progress in short time.

We laughed, played a few games.  Both Dave, Dan and Michele had pretty good runs on the tables.  I don’t know what happened to my game.  I’m usually a killer pong player.  I blame my tennis game.  Maybe I didn’t drink enough beer.  I’ll blame my surgery and not enough beer. 🙂
