2012 – A Day In The Life Of Perk

Days 150-153: May 28-31

The first three days of the week were pretty uneventful.  I mostly spent my time either on the tennis court, in the gym or in the Presidio hiking.  Overall a pretty great way to spend the week.   Monday was Memorial Day.  Seemed like a perfect day to take a long hike through the Presidio.  And pause for reflection at the military cemetery.

On Thursday my friend Mae had her birthday party at this new brewpub in the Mission called Southern Brewing Company.

On the way to the brewery, we passed this very cool wall mural in the Mission.  There are tons of these murals all over this area and you can even take a tour of them.

The brewery was a very cool space.  It’s an old warehouse that they converted into a brewery.  I tried a few of the beers… pretty tasty.  I didn’t try the food, but it did look pretty decent.

My good friends Albert and Perkel were there too… always great to see them and catch up.  And my friend Meg.  Good times.
